Shakespeare's Greatest Hits and The King's Players present selected scenes from Romeo & Juliet and The Comedy of Errors. Our performances offer a fantastic Shakespeare experience for the newcomer as well as those with extensive knowledge of The Bard.
We look forward to welcoming you to our performances in a new location! We are honored to be hosted by Chesterton Academy of the Willamette Valley in Mt. Angel, Oregon.
The 1:00 pm show will feature Romeo & Juliet which runs approximately one hour, a 15-minute intermission, then The Comedy of Errors which runs approximately 45 minutes. The 5:00 pm show will follow the same pattern.
Shakespeare's Greatest Hits (SGH) is a high-quality drama class taught from a Christian worldview, open to students ages 12-18 (with some exceptions). Created primarily for homeschooled students, SGH now welcomes students from all school settings. It is an exciting, educational, ten-week course culminating in a performance of selected scenes from two of Shakespeare's best plays. SGH is in its 23rd year taught by professional actor/storyteller, Christopher Leebrick. At SGH, expectations are high, and so are the joyful rewards!
The target audience for these plays are ages 6 and up.
